About BTP Talent Development
BTP Talent Development, located in Forest Hill, offers singing lessons, both private
classes and group classes, for students of all ages.
Our classes are designed to suit each students individual talents, goals and natural
singing style. All levels of singer are catered for including beginners, intermediate
and advanced students. We also offer our students the bonus of theory classes and AMEB
exams if desired. Although not all students wish to follow this path, it is no doubt
an integral part of learning to be a well rounded singer and performer.
Our students learn not only how to sing correctly using a unique and modern technique
but also how to write songs, improvise, perform and record. We have access to some of
the best music producers, photographers and video production teams in Melbourne, giving
our students the edge over others in an ever changing music industry.
BTP Spotlight
At it’s base, Blame Lily is just guitar and vocals, thrown together to build a net of emotion trapping you in the song and carrying you along for the journey. But for its’ members, Ash Chevelle and Tristan ‘Beans’ Macleod, it feels more like throwing all your influences into a pot, watching what it boils down to and then serving it warm on an acoustic platter.
No matter how you describe their music, Blame Lily aims to bring to you stories about life, the universe and everything; songs that have meaning, and give the listener something to connect to. Though starting in different places, the inspiration behind these songs come together to form a sound both unique, and at the same time, familiar. Blame Lily may be creating their own story, but if you listen, you’ll soon find out that they’re telling yours.
